Automated Dissolution Systems

The ADS-0l / ADS-02 / ADS-12 (T/P) dissolution systems are based on the PT-DT7 / PTWS IIIE / PTWS 12E dissolution testers, an 8 channel peristaltic pump and a split beam UV-VIS spectrometer with an 8 cell changer built in. T or P denotes either Tygon or Teflon (PTFE) tubing for sample transport. The overall system control is via WIN-DISS which needs o PC with at least 2 RS232 communication ports. The sampling tubes are fixed in the dissolution vessel throughout the test duration.

Automated Dissolution Systems

TheADS-04/ ADS-05 / ADS-1200 (T/P) automated dissolution systems are based on the PTWS 300 / PTWS 600 / PTWS 1200 dissolution testers, with an EPE sampling manifold, an 8 channel peristaltic pump and a split beam UV-VIS spectramater fitted with an 8 cell changer. The tubing type has to be selected and WIN-DlSS software installed on a suitable control PC. The sample probes in this configuration are lowered into the vessels only ring the sampling period. After this, the EPE is raised and parked in the "home" position until the next sampling sequence starts.
